Viewing Assigned Stops
When you open the RoutePilot mobile app, your stops for the day are shown on the Today screen. This is your primary view for the day's work.
The Today Screen
The Today screen shows:
- Each assigned stop in route order
- Customer name and service address
- Estimated arrival time (if the dispatcher has set times)
- Stop status (upcoming, in progress, complete)
- A summary of total stops remaining
Stops are listed in the order set by the dispatcher. If the dispatcher optimized the route, they are ordered for minimum drive time.
Stop Card Details
Tap a stop to see its full details:
- Customer name and address — with a link to open in Apple Maps or Google Maps
- Service notes — any notes the dispatcher or customer record has for this location (gate codes, dog in yard, parking instructions)
- Job type — what kind of service is scheduled
- Estimated duration — how long the job is expected to take
- Customer contact information — phone number for on-the-go questions
Navigation
Tap the Navigate button on any stop to open it in your device's default map app. RoutePilot passes the full service address.
Refreshing Your Route
Pull down on the Today screen to refresh. New assignments or changes made by the dispatcher after you started your day will appear.
Note
If you don't see a stop that the dispatcher says was assigned, pull to refresh. Dispatcher changes are pushed in real time but may take a few seconds to appear.
Offline Visibility
Your stops load when you first open the app and are cached locally. If you lose signal during the day, your assigned stops remain visible. You can still complete and update stops while offline — changes sync when you reconnect.
See Offline Usage for more details.
