Updating Job Status

As you work through each stop, update the job status in the mobile app. This keeps the office view current and creates an accurate record of when work was done.

Status Progression

Each stop moves through a standard set of statuses:

StatusWhat it meansWhen to set it
UpcomingNot yet startedDefault — no action needed
ArrivedYou are on-siteWhen you pull into the property
In ProgressWork has startedWhen you begin the service
CompleteWork is doneAfter finishing all service tasks

Marking Arrived

When you reach a stop:

  1. Open the stop from the Today screen
  2. Tap Arrived
  3. The timestamp is recorded automatically

The dispatcher can see when you arrived in real time.

Marking In Progress

Tap Start Job when you begin working. This is optional but useful if you want to track time on-site separately from drive time.

Completing a Stop

When the work is done:

  1. Tap Complete Job
  2. Add any notes about what was done (optional but recommended)
  3. Optionally capture a photo or signature (see linked guides)
  4. Confirm completion

The stop turns green on the dispatcher's board. If the customer was set up to receive a completion notification, the SMS is sent automatically.

Adding Notes

You can add notes at any point during or after the stop:

  1. Open the stop
  2. Scroll to the Notes section
  3. Type your note
  4. Notes save automatically

Notes are visible to dispatchers and can be referenced if customers call with questions.

Tip

Even brief notes are valuable: "treated back yard only, front gate locked," "customer declined interior treatment today." They protect you and help the office answer customer questions accurately.
